the shower was an absolute nightmare, spraying everywhere except on me, and the 'second bedroom' was just a sofa with a sheet thrown on it, how quaint! I almost wrote a glowing review, but the noise from party-goers at 2 am ruined that. A complimentary upgrade for my troubles would have been nice, or at least a proper shower.

The Sicilian pastry at the pool bar was to die for—each bite was a slice of heaven! The pool area had a fantastic vibe, with plenty of sunbeds to lounge on. Plus, the friendly staff knew us by name, making us feel like part of the family by the end of our stay.

The two-week holiday at Hillside was fantastic! The family running the place made everything feel so welcoming. By day three, they remembered my nephew Aaron's name, which was a nice touch. The Earth Suite had a charming vibe. the views from the balcony were stunning. The pool area was immaculate, with lots of sunbeds available. We often enjoyed snacks from the pool bar, which offered decent food options. the mattress in the suite was quite thin, making sleep a bit uncomfortable. I also noticed some minor insects in the sink, likely due to the area's surroundings, but it didn't bother me much. One thing to note, cleaning staff arrived at different times, which sometimes caught me off guard. Transportation to Faliraki Beach was convenient with the free shuttle, although the uphill walk back was a little challenging after a long day. we had a wonderful time here, with just a few minor hiccups.

Guests may find the location uphill challenging for walking, particularly in the summer heat. the dining options appear to require purchasing food on-site, as taking snacks to the pool isn't allowed.

but the bathroom was kinda wet and slippery after a shower and the cleaning wasn't great.

Delightful atmosphere, delightful family, with a lovely outdoor space that features a well-maintained swimming pool and convenient shuttle bus service running three times a day to the nearby town, making it easy to explore local shops and enjoy the vibrant culture without the hassle.

Couldn't ask for more.
